Our Team
Diane Wirth, MSW, LCSW
With over three decades of clinical experience across diverse settings including inpatient, outpatient, and school environments, I have dedicated myself to supporting adolescents, young adults, and their families through a wide spectrum of challenges. Witnessing the growth and development of young individuals has been the most fulfilling aspect of my career.
Central to my approach is the belief that listening attentively and validating the thoughts and emotions of young people are foundational in building trust and fostering emotional growth, problem-solving skills, and self-esteem.
I am particularly passionate about helping young individuals enhance their coping skills, manage anxiety, depression, executive functioning challenges, school refusal, and navigate socialization issues. I am also deeply committed to creating a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ+ individuals to explore their identities, find acceptance, and develop strategies to overcome unique challenges.
Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), I tailor my methods to best suit the needs of each individual I support. My sessions are characterized by creativity, interactivity, and a sense of enjoyment.
In addition to my clinical work, I bring expertise as a parent coach, drawing from both professional training and personal experience as a parent of three adult children. This dual perspective allows me to support parents in understanding and navigating the complexities of family dynamics, offering practical guidance and strategies to foster positive communication, strengthen relationships, and promote healthy development in their children. Whether addressing behavioral challenges, supporting academic success, or enhancing overall family well-being, I am committed to empowering parents with the tools and insights they need to navigate the rewarding yet challenging journey of parenthood effectively.
Beyond direct clinical practice, I provide clinical supervision to provisionally licensed LSW and LAC professionals, contributing to the growth and development of future therapists and ensuring the highest standards of care for those they serve.
